The Benefits of Qualified Art Instruction

Mrs. Heather is a certified pre-K through 12th grade art teacher and has been teaching art to students of all ages for over 12 years. While both art lessons and craft projects can allow children some level of creative expression, curriculum based art instruction provides students an introduction to new art vocabulary and artistic techniques they will need as they grow as artists.

Art styles, multicultural lessons and varied artistic techniques will be discussed and learned in a fun and creative environment. We will discuss beginning elements such as line, pattern, color, texture, and form as well as design principles such as pattern, repetition, contrast, and emphasis.
